The Mogadore Wildcat Marching Band, affectionately referred to as the “Pride of Mogadore” has developed a presence within the Mogadore Village Community. From its performances at the annual Mogadore Fireman's Festival, Memorial Day Parade, Mogadore Wildcat Band Show, football games, Main Street USA in Disney World in 2019, and most recently, Performance in the Park at Cedar Point in the spring of 2024, the marching band continues to grow in musicianship and presence.
Within the past decade years, the Mogadore Band Program has also had a record number of students participate in various concerts, festivals, and competitions. More than half the high school band and junior high represented Mogadore in the Ohio Music Education Association’s Solo and Ensemble contest earning "Superior" and "Excellent" ratings. The program has also seen a record number of students represent Mogadore in the Ohio State Middle School Honor Band, The University of Akron Honor Band, and the prestigious, Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony. In addition, the program has consistently received "Superior" and "Excellent" Ratings at the district and state level for the Ohio Music Education Association’s Large Group Adjudicated Event.
We are pleased to continue to grow as a band this year and beyond.
