Mr. Noah Whetstone

Director of Bands and Choirs

Mr. Whetstone is the Director of Bands and Choral Programs at Mogadore Local Schools. A recent graduate of The University of Akron (Class of 2023) and an alum of Mogadore High School (Class of 2019), he is thrilled to return to his alma mater as a music educator. He studied saxophone under Dr. Gaffke at Akron, graduating summa cum laude and as a Williams Honors Scholar with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

Mr. Whetstone conducts the Mogadore High School Concert Band, Wildcat Marching Band, Jr./Sr. High School Jazz Band, Jr./Sr. High School Choir, Junior High Band, and Elementary Bands.

Ms. Emily Blauman

Color Guard Instructor

Miss Emily Blauman is a graduate of Kent State University serving as a our Color Guard instructor for the Wildcat Marching Band.

Mr. Jackson Slepoy

Assistant Marching Band Director and Percussion Instructor

Mr. Slepoy is a 2020 graduate of Mogadore and serves as the Assistant Marching Band Director and Percussion Instructor for the Wildcat Marching Band.
